SENIOR UPND officials in Kawambwa have been accused of having abducted James Mulenga, the Tonce Alliance candidate for the Kaala Ward by-election and alleged forced him to resign from the alliance after being threatened with unknown political reprisals, it has been disclosed.
According to Mr. Mulenga, who has since managed to escape from his abductors, his captors, including high-ranking government and party officials in Luapula ambushed him and was captured and taken to a named hotel where he was allegedly tortured after he refused to withdraw from the race?
