ABEL Msichili Changwe, a UPND stalwart has warned that President Hakainde Hichilema could lose miserably if Zambia was to go for an early election because according to him, the head of State has neglected his own people who sacrificed for the ruling party when it was in the opposition.
Mr Changwe said the major opposition which would remove President Hakainde from government were UPND members who were feeling aggrieved with the way they were being treated by the head of State and his ministers.

Mr Changwe said in his audio which has gone viral that people in various areas including UPND strongholds were complaining about how they had been neglected by the UPND government, a party they sacrificed for.
He alleged that because of being neglected, the family of another UPND stalwart Austin Mwiinga also known as Nsabata had allegedly rejected the K20, 000 which was given to them by President Hichilema because he showed care for him only after he died. “To tell you the truth, if we are to have a by-election or general election today, President Hakainde Hichilema can lose miserably because people on the ground are complaining of how they have been neglected after sacrificing so much for UPND whilst in the opposition.”
“People are complaining include the family of Nsabata which was given K20, 000 during the funeral of Nsabata. They are saying Nsabata was close to President Hichilema, but he neglected him when he got sick. Why did he not take him to a good hospital when he was sick instead of giving him K20, 000 in his death?
“They have rejected the K20, 000 which they were given and have asked the President to get back the money. They are asking themselves and wondering whether UPND and President Hichilema only shows care or appreciate someone when he dies? ,” Mr Changwe said.
Mr Changwe said in his audio that those who were in the habit of taking audios to President Hichilema should deliver his audio to him so that the head of State should know what people were saying on the ground about his leadership.
He said he had decided to come out because people were complaining about President Hichilema and UPND including in the party stronghold like Monze and Nakambala Sugar.
He said he was not scared of anything and was ready to be killed by the people from his party, the UPND, which he had sacrificed for very much.
“Those who are in the habit of taking audios to the President should not hesitate, but quickly send this audio to the Principal One. I do not have fear, am not scared because I have been in Gehena. When you go to jail is like you are half dead.”
“I am ready to die. I have sacrificed for my party, the UPND. So, if people from my party want to kill me, I am ready. I have sacrificed, my marriage is almost broken while my children are in disarray. Even educating them, it is by the grace of God,” Mr Changwe said.
