Musician Dandy Krazy plans to launch his forthcoming project ‘I Switch’ at Lusaka’s Woodlands Stadium in August.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, Dandy said he has been working hard to give people his best in his latest project that will have 14 tracks out of the many he has done in the recent months.
He says his aim to take the launch to Woodlands Stadium is to show the seriousness and magnitude of his project which he says addresses social issues, motivation and love situations.
“I have featured a number of artistes on this project and I have a lot to offer to my fans. This is an album that will motivate the youth and make them make decisions about their lives,” says Dandy whose title-truck ‘I Switch’ featuring hip hop artiste Chef 187 is already doing fine.
“I want Woodlands Stadium because I want to show the people that there is talent in this country and because there will be a lot of artistes to support this launch,” insisted Dandy Krazy who has for a long time been known for social commentary and influential political songs that have changed a number of things in this country. He is also still considered as one of the most energetic stage performers in Zambia which is the more reason he wants a big launch.
“You know how serious I become when it comes to stage work and I want people to understand that I am working hard to have a successful and memorable launch,” adds Dandy.
‘I switch ‘is a song that is encouraging young people to think positively and do things independently so as to earn a living. It is a song that he has specifically dedicated to young people advising them to have a mind switch and work very hard.
