THE MTN Super League resumes today following a one-week international break which saw the Chipolopolo complete their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Tanzania in Zanzibar and Niger at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Match week eight kicks off with one fixture between Mufulira Wanderers who are lying ninth on the log with eight points facing fourth from the bottom Nkwazi who have faced serious headwinds, managing only three draws.
Tomorrow, the fixtures will be spread across two towns, with the capital city Lusaka staging two games at REIZ Arena where Napsa Stars welcome Kansanshi Dynamos in a rushed round encounter while Green Buffaloes entertain Nchanga Rangers at Edwin Imboela in Sikanze Police camp.
In Kabwe, bottom of the table Mines United welcome fifth-placed MUZA.
Mufulira Wanderers vs Nkwazi
Wanderers’ coach Lameck Banda, who has the enviable task of rebranding one of the biggest names in Zambian football says he is settling in well since his arrival in pre-season and aware of his herculean task ahead.

Nkwazi coach Keagan Phiri who has taken long to stamp his authority on the squad since taking over from Aggrey Chiyangi at the start of the season, said the international break was for reorganising, refocusing and also re-energising the squad which is yet to win a game this campaign.
