AFRINET Executive Director Maurice Malambo says the promotion of policies that also encourage partnerships with local small-scale miners and foreign investors will go a long way in putting order within the industry.
Mr Malambo is hopeful that the proposal to establish a mineral commission will help in addressing such issues once actualised.
Mr Malambo says this is because the commission will bring about more transparency, thereby making partnerships between local miners and foreign investors.
