MOZO TV LAUNCHES ‘ONE FOR HER: A TRIBUTE IN MUSIC’ EVENT
MOZO TV has announced the launch of ‘One for Her: A Tribute in Music, ‘ an annual event dedicated to celebrating and honoring Zambia’s most influential female music icons.
According to a statement, the inaugural edition, set to take place tomorrow on 31st May, 2025, at The Quorum, will pay tribute to Angela Nyirenda, recognizing her outstanding contributions to Zambian music and culture.
“This exclusive black-tie dinner and award ceremony will bring together industry leaders, musicians, corporate partners, and devoted fans to celebrate Angela Nyirenda’s legacy,” the statement read.
” The evening will feature live performances of her most beloved songs, heartfelt testimonials, and the presentation of a special honorary award in recognition of her impact. ”
Angela Nyirenda’s influence on Zambian music is undeniable; She is a pioneer in preserving Zambian culture through music. Through ‘One for Her: A Tribute in Music,’ MOZO TV aims to celebrate her legacy and pave the way for future generations of female artists.
And Angela Nyirenda said that she has been doing music for over 20 years and she is grateful for the honour.
Furthermore , Angela’s manager Moses Sakala from Makewane Music thanked Mozo for shining the light on Angela.
