ROAN aspiring independent Member of Parliament, Mr. Lengwe Cornelius Bwalya, has urged the Zambian government to take a more active role in negotiating peace in the ongoing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Mr. Bwalya highlighted that the war in the DRC directly affects Zambia’s economy, security, and stability due to the close proximity of the two countries. In an interview, he emphasized the importance of Zambia’s involvement, noting that many Zambians live in the DRC, and the country is a key trade partner.
