PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has implored Zambians to consider venturing into beef production because it is one of the best rewarding farming businesses in the agriculture sector.

President Hichilema says with the existence of the beef markets in neighbouring countries, Zambians, especially youths and women should consider venturing into the business as it was rewarding.
Mr Hichilema who is on his festive holiday at his ranches in Southern Province said it was his desire that besides Government creating jobs and business opportunities, Zambians at individual levels should strive to create job opportunities for other citizens who were not able to do so for themselves.
He said it was gratifying that he was a President and a leader of a people who were hard-working striving to do their best in creating jobs and wealth for their families and the country as a whole.
“Beef production remains one of the rewarding farming businesses in agriculture. With the existence of markets in the neighbouring countries, we urge citizens, especially the youth and women, to venture into this sector,” President Hichilema said on his official Facebook page.
He explained that he had continued checking on his cattle at his ranches in Southern Province, which he has been operating for more than 20 years, creating employment for many Zambians in the process.
“It is our desire that besides the government creating jobs and business opportunities, we also must strive hard to create opportunities for others who may not be able to.
It is gratifying to note that we lead a country of hardworking citizens who are also doing their part in creating wealth and jobs,” President Hichilema said.
He wished God’s blessings to every Zambian involved in food production, job and wealth creation.
