Mr Mulema, however said ZNS could play a more critical role in promoting national food security given its abundant open vast virgin farmlands dotted across the country.
‘We are also alive to the fact that ZNS farmlands are not only fertile, located near rivers or wetlands, but also the situation enables them to meaningfully participate fully in food production on a large scale and in an effort to promote national food security,” he said.
He urged President Hakainde Hichilema and the new dawn administration to escalate the idea to the ZNS high command as a matter of policy.
