Impending suit against the 48 UPND MP’s
Editor,
We are in support of the impending suit against the 48 UPND MP’s because of their hypocrisy in national matters and not recognizing the Head of State while recognizing both the Vice President and the Speaker who are there because of the incumbent Republican President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu. Better they apologize or resign because they are not conversant with their responsibilities and obligations in serving the constituents that are made up of different people from different political parties. Denying these constituents representation in Parliament is not only criminal but an affront to democracy.

UPND’s unruly behavior at the courts
Editor,
We strongly condemn the recent unruly behavior of UPND cadres at the courts. We call upon the police to up security at the UPND infested courts and bring law breakers to book. We further call upon the Registrar of Societies to act now before life is lost at the hands of senseless creatures which are not supposed to be mixing with human beings. These are criminals who have gone beyond their limits hence our call to de-register the party forthwith. These naturally are criminals who deserve no place in our societies and the country at large. Registrar of Societies, where are you?

HH should be pardoned
Editor,
Kaunda pardoned Christon Tembo and Mwamba Luchembe, Chiluba did it on Solo and yet guns were fired. What has HH done not to be pardoned by Edgar? Is it for that mad dash at Kuomboka? Come on Zambians, let’s practice love and not hate for certain tribes. One Zambia, one nation.

How many political parties is William Banda going to die with?
Editor,
It is surprising to see the UPND presidential political advisor, William Banda aging with lies and will die in them. In the runner up to 1991 general elections, we heard him saying he was going to die with KK. In 2011, he promised to die with Rupiah Banda and he is again appearing on television saying he is going to die with HH. Furthmore, if his party sees nothing wrong with HH’s arrest, then it was also reasonable to wait for the court to prove the UPND leader, Hakainde Hichilema innocent as Zambia is governed by the law.

Where is the police?
Editor,
Sometime back I wrote an article about each police station having a paramilitary camp for security measures. I am reiterating that you don’t have to wait for a police officer to be killed in PHI for the IG to instruct for more patrols. Where are police vehicles for patrols? Why the military is so heavily equipped and yet their armory is just idling in the barracks? Zambia should be proactive to security measures domestically and internationally. Enhance the police to achieve the much proclaimed peace which all claim to have, thesecriminals will finish us.

We all have origins
Editor,
The great son, Dr. FJT Chiluba did not fall from heaven but was also born from a humble family in Luapula, Mwense district and on Sunday, 18th June, 2017, the Zambian people joined his family bot in Lusaka and Luapula to commemorate and reflect on his legacy left in Africa. However, to his relative’s surprise, they have been denied an opportunity to meet the head of State since 2011 to outline their challenges after Dr. FJT’s death since he was not an ordinary citizen but statesman. Today, it’s his family in Mwense, tomorrow it will be us.

Let go and let God
Editor,
Most of us have to realize that everyone has their own path to take, their own destiny to follow and their own time frame in which to attain their goals. We should not look at others while pursuing our own paths and if something does not work out, let it go! If it is truly meant for us, it will always come back. We need to entrust our lives and futures in Gods palms for he knows what is best for us.
