Dear Bishops,
I write to you with a heart full of sorrow due to your uncalculated move to abuse the pastoral mandate given to you by our heavenly father.
The recent statement on the state of the nation by Archbishop Tresphore Mpundu was retrogressive, morbid and unZambian.
As the people God purposed to look into the “spiritual affairs” of the nation, you must know that you need to learn to separate the truth from rumour and then present the facts to the people and authorities.
As men of the collar, you need to know that one who tells a lie is a liar. And the Bible puts it clearly that liars will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Let me put it to you that Zambia is greater than all political parties put together.
My Zambia is greater than President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and Hakainde Hichilema put together. And above all Zambia is greater than all the three church mother bodies put together.
No Zambian is greater than Zambia. As long as the Lord Jesus Christ tarries, all of us will die but Zambia will remain with the future generations, therefore premeditated one-sided statements which are questionable must not be entertained.
As well-learned clergymen assigned to look into the affairs of the church in Zambia, you must learn to make wide consultations before you decide to impose your personal will on the citizenry.
Your recent statement on state of the nation cannot go unchallenged because it lacks much truth. It was full of deceit, defeat and despair.
It is an irrefutable fact that some people want to exchange the sovereignty of our beloved Zambia with a bowl of soup just like Esau did in the Bible.
Those in church must arise and stop those who have vowed to rule this nation by whatever cost. We have recently witnessed lawlessness among some political players without any rebuke from you.
A one-sided church leadership will always look to certain group of people and other organizations like freemasonry and gay movements for personal security and promotion.
It seems the three church mother bodies are specialists in abusive control but I am sorry it cannot work out in Zambia.
Once again, I put it on record that Zambia is a sovereign State whose agenda must not be controlled by foreign powers that includes Anglo American Corporation, gay movements, and freemasonry.
Greed and selfishness is a hallmark of Satanic manipulation. Your statement leaves much to be desired and must be condemned especially from non-partisan faithful.
God forbids profanity, false prophesies, bootlicking and blasphemy. I wonder what has become of you all to a point that you are ready to betray the nation because of personal insecurity.
You are seeking to drive the nation by becoming the deciding factor in the lives of many Zambians. Dorika would simply say “Can’t never!”
Regime change must be left with the Almighty God’s timing not man-made strategies aimed at disqualifying Zambia by implications which I can call instructive indirect disqualifications.
The agenda of initiating regime change by the three church mother bodies through disguise is hypocritical, disrespectful, dishonourable and disobedience to the Constitution of the sovereign Republic of Zambia.
By the way, Zambia is NOT an animal farm where some animals are more equal than others. It is saddening that the men of the collar are at it again by supporting illegality.
The so-called crisis is a maker of people who have failed to recognize Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu as a legitimate President of the Republic of Zambia even after the independent observers endorsed his election.
Why can’t you allow him to rule until 2021 then if he fails the Zambian people we will send him back to Simambumbu village in Petauke district using the ballot box just as we did to Dr Kenneth Kaunda in 1991 and to Mr. Rupiah Banda in 2011.
The makers of the so called crisis have gone to the extent of propagating a well calculated scheme of anarchy or lumpiness to cultivate a picture of lawlessness in Zambia.
Zambia is bigger than the Catholics, Evangelicals and Protestants put together. You cannot create a crisis to favour your own quest to usurp power.
That is what is called wickedness. Breaking the status quo to suit your evil agenda is what is called “a crisis.”
A crisis is a crucial stage or turning point in the course of something. It can also mean an unstable situation of extreme danger or difficult.
What constitutes a political crisis? Is Zambia an animal farm where some animals are more equal than others?
You must know that the only hope for Africa is to return in repentance to God, rediscover the biblical principles into every aspect of personal and community life and this must start with the clergymen like you. Zambia is a nation governed by laws. No one is above the law. That is why a civil government’s mandate is to dispense justice equally.
A person who steals a K10 is a thief, so is one who steals a million dollars. The end result for both is Chimbokaila remand Prison. God’s mandate for every civil government is that of being a sword of justice (Romans 13:1-4).
Sirs, on the detention of the United Party for National Development President (UPND) Mr Hakainde Hichilema, I hold my thought lest I am cited for contempt by the courts of law.
All I can urge the judiciary as being part of the three arms of government to uphold the sanctity of life of all prisoners and remandees.
Let me state further that the people of Zambia owe its allegiance to God Almighty and the Constitution of the sovereign Republic of Zambia not to any political party or the three church mother bodies.
Democracy does not mean abuse of democratic rights such as insulting the Presidency.
People must learn to distinguish between Edgar Chagwa Lungu as a person and Edgar Chagwa Lungu as the President of the Republic of Zambia.
Political justice can be obtained through the use of the rights as provided by the Constitution and not political wickedness such as violence.
Political wickedness is wickedness irrespective of the motive. Political unrighteousness like all forms of unrighteousness is sin. And every sin must be judged so.
One good example of political wickedness is endorsing the political elite that want to take power by all means regardless of being rejected by the electorate.
You cannot fight wrongdoing through violence – destructive violence. Even the United Nations (UN) allows its peace keeping troops to use constructive violence to stop the would-be oppressor.
Destructive violence is always suppressed by constructive violence. That is why law breakers are behind the bar.
Throughout the Bible we read of believers who sought to have a Godly influence on their rulers without any hidden agenda. The lives of Samuel, Nathan, Elisha, Isaiah, Haggai, Ezra and Malachi are good examples for the clergy who openly rebuked and confronted the wicked rulers.
No illicit agenda to please the foreign pay masters was allowed. Offering checks and balances does not mean spiritual intimidation, John the Baptist faithfully rebuked King Herod and even lost his head.
You cannot call a sitting President a dictator just because he has refused to dance to your own tune. You need wisdom for it as a principle guideline.
Let me remind you that we have examples of how selfish clergymen in Rwanda initiated the death of thousands during the genocide in 1994.
Just in case you have outlived your usefulness, I humbly urge you to accept your own weaknesses and start life afresh by resigning just as Father Frank Bwalya did and join the political battlefront and allow those who are eager to win souls for Christ take over the church leadership.
Finally allow me to remind you that it is not too late to ask God for forgiveness and also ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and receive Him as Lord and personal saviour.
Because going to church does not make you a Christian. If you sleep in the garage, that does not make you a BMW.
Remember Zambia is greater than all political players put together. Zambia belongs to Jesus!
In pursuit for His Service,
Chishala Mpundu Mwaba III
Mwense District.
