By GIDEON NYENDWA THE Christian Democratic Party (CDP) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the candidature of former President Edgar Lungu and Tonse Alliance candidate in 2026 despite the Constitutional Court having nullified his eligibility to contest future elections. Dan Pule, the leader of the CDP has claimed that the UPND and President Hakainde Hichilema were so scared of the former President that the only way they could stop him from defeating them was to remove him from the ballot.
