By GRACE CHAILE THE High Court has ordered Liko’s Industries and Logistics Company Limited to pay Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) K24 million in unpaid taxes. This decision comes after the High Court overturned a previous acquittal by the Kitwe Subordinate Court, which had cleared the company of tax evasion charges totalling over K24 million. ZRA had appealed the acquittal, citing 32 counts of false returns and statements, as well as evasion of taxation.
