By MUBITA KATETE THE Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU has disclosed that it has started shipping the 650, 000 metric tonnes of maize being imported from Tanzania with about 72, 000 metritc tonnes on the way to Zambia. Gabriel Pollen, the DMMU Coordinator says so far, about 72, 000 metric tonnes of the maize are en route to Zambia, stating that there are additional shipments that have been scheduled.
