By MERVIS MUSONDA KONKOLA Copper Mines (KCM) Plc has ramped up production to 8, 000 metric tonnes, safeguarding 12, 500 jobs under the management of Vedanta Resources. Vedanta Resources took over the operations of KCM last August. KCM Board Chairman, Moses Banda announced that the company has implemented key measures to support employees, including a 20 percent salary increment, timely salary payments, and a one-off bonus.
