By GIDEON NYENDWA THE Socialist Party (SP) has warned that the ‘monkeys stole the country’ stunt by Minister of Education Douglas Syakalima has the potential to spark tribal divisions in the country and could easily destabilize peace and unity Zambians are enjoying. Stanley Muba’sa, the Socialist Party national chairperson has expressed concerns over Mr Syakalima’s vile comments against a selected group of citizens were unacceptable and should be condemned in the strongest terms. He said characterizing former leaders in the Patriotic Front (PF) as monkeys was not only derogatory but could easily inflame tribal consternation in the country.
