By NATION REPORTER PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has complained that his government has achieved so much in just three years but that the achievements are not being effectively communicated to Zambians through whose courtesy the UPND is in government. President Hichilema has thence directed Ministers, Permanent Secretaries and other senior government officials to enhance communication of different developmental projects that the government has been implementing. The head of State says the UPND government has been undertaking numerous programmes such as the reintroduction of the free education policy which had seen over two million children enrolled back into school. President Hichilema has however noted that publicity of government’s developmental programmes, especially to Zambians at the grassroots had been insufficient. President Hichilema has since challenged senior government officials to utilise not only the state media such as the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS) and Times of Zambia, but also private and community media to highlight government programmes.
