ZAMBIA’S Sixth President Edgar Lungu, has warned Zambians that President Hakainde Hichilema is determined to destroy the country’s democracy and the rule of law in Zambia in a bid to turn the country into a dictatorship. Former President Lungu has also warned that as the country goes towards 2026, President Hichilema would continue to break the law with impunity, shall disregard the Constitution and the rule of law as has been exemplified in the last three years. In a statement issued by PF secretary general Raphael Nakachinda, former President Lungu stated that a fresh illegality was recently committed when new office bearers for the Patriotic Front (PF) were illegally changed and from which someone was installed as leaders of the former ruling party.
