By PETER SICHALIDEMOCRATIC Republic of Congo Ambassador to Zambia Konji Maloba has confirmed the arrest of Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) New Hope president Nevers Mumba by the DRC intelligence known as ANR.Ms Maloba said that Dr Mumba was arrested on Thursday in Kolwezi where he had gone.She said Dr Mumba was being held by the special intelligence wing in Lubumbashi, adding that the matter was still being investigated.Dr Mumba was arrested by heavily armed security officers after his planned meeting with former DRC President General Joseph Kabila to seek financial support ahead of 2021 general elections in Zambia flopped.D r Mumba entered DRC on December 1, 2020 and was guest of Provincial Governor for Lualaba Richard Muyej Mangeze an ally to Gen.
