By PETER SICHALIFOREIGN Affairs Minister of Joseph Malanji is leading a high level Zambian delegation at a virtual Executive Council meeting of the African Union led by Foreign Ministers of State.Mr Malanji is leading a delegation comprising Minister of Home Affairs, Stephen Kampyongo, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Christopher Yaluma and Zambia’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the African Union, Emmanuel Mwamba.The meeting will consider the draft agenda for the 13th Extra-Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of State scheduled for next week.The Extra-Ordinary Session is expected to ratify the operationalisation of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area scheduled to start on January 1, 2021.The summit is also expected to consider the agenda on activities and efforts made on the theme of the year: “Silencing the Guns.”
