Dear editor,WE wish to join the many Zambians and people across the world who have showered messages of congratulations to two of our very own people for excelling and standing out at international platforms.Ms Mulenga Mpundu Kapwepwe was recently named as one of BBC’s 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2020 which is no mean achievement.Ms. Kapwepwe’s recognition is great news for Zambia and must serve as an inspiration to the many young women and girls out there who may have been looking elsewhere for role models and mentors.Meanwhile, Zambia Revenue Authority Commissioner General, Kingsley Chanda on the other hand broke the barriers after being elected to the African Tax Administration forum (ATAF) council.Mr. Chanda will join top Taxmen and women who will govern the council for the next two years.ATAF comprises of five regional blocks namely; Eastern, Western, Central, Northern and Southern which provides a platform for coop-eration among the […]
