By NATION REPORTERTHE Patriotic Front (PF) has commended government for opting out and expressing objection and reservations to Summit for Democracy outcomes especially on the commitments that promoted and protected LGBTQI rights across the world.Emmanuel Mwamba, the PF deputy information and publicity chairperson has said it should be stated that it was not established that there has never been universal consensus that the LGBTQ rights were human rights.Mr Mwamba, the PF presidential candidate stated that the concept of the LGBTQ and its promotion had remained illegal in Zambia and that the former ruling party was happy the commitments on LGBTQ were clearly articulated in the reservation document.“We welcome Zambia’s reservation on issues relating to the Ukraine/Russian War because the use of war cannot help resolve conflict or bring lasting and durable peace.
