By LUCY PHIRI A STATE House Senior Transport officer has told the court how he delivered a motor vehicle registration number GRZ 759 to former President Edgar Lungu’s political advisor Kaizer Peter Zulu and was later informed that he bought it.This was when Zulu, who appeared yesterday at the Lusaka Magistrate Court, is on bail but still detained.In this matter, Zulu, 52, a businessman of plot no.1883 Ibex hill in Lusaka pleaded not guilty to one count of conversion not amounting to theft contrary to section 291 of the penal code chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.When the matter came up for commencement of trial, Mr Crispin Bwalya, 46, told Lusaka magistrate Mutinta Mwenya that he delivered the vehicle registration number GRZ 759 to Zulu as his personal to holder.Mr Bwalya narrated that he was called to collect the vehicle from the ministry of Works and Supply, to deliver it at State House to Zulu as […]
