By MILLENNIUM REPORTERThe Private Sector Development Association has expressed concern over the lack of law to govern the mining and export of gold hence the country losing out in terms of revenuePSDA chairperson Yusuf Dodia says it is saddening that there is no law that compels the country to ensure that the earnings from the export of gold benefit the country’s economy in any way.Mr. Dodia says while the country maybe good at identifying different minerals, it is equally important that mechanisms are put in place that this benefits Zambia.He says failure to doing so will result in the country mining various minerals for others to benefit while citizens are left to suffer.
