By ANDREW MUKOMAGOVERNMENT has encouraged students pursuing teaching as a career in various colleges not to give up because it is has developed a policy of employing teachers annually.Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary Joel Kamoko has observed that for those graduating, there is light at the end of the tunnel for them to be employed by government.Mr Kamoko said the country was still facing a defecit of teachers to deal with the teacher-pupil ratio.He said that it was under this background that Government will continue to employ teachers and also replace those that have retired.This was contained in a speech for him by Southern Province Provincial Education Officer Grace Nosiku Mwiya at the 16th graduation for secondary school diploma and 2nd bachelor of agriculture science, bachelor early childhood education and bachelor of education in partnership between the University of Zambia (UNZA) and David the Livingstone College of Education (DALICE) last Friday in Livingstone.And UNZA Acting […]
