By SIMON MUNTEMBAPRESIDENT Edgar Lungu has thanked the people of Lukashya and Mwansabombwe for voting for Patriotic Front (PF) candidates in Thursday’s by-elections.Mr Lungu also congratulated Mr George Chisanga and Mr Kabaso Kapampi for emerging victorious in Lukanshya and Mwansabombwe constituencies respectively.In a statement issued by his special assistant for press and public relations Issac Chipampe, Mr Lungu said the two victories showed that people still believed in the PF government’s development agenda.“These victories arising from the unfortunate loss of two lives of wonderful souls were also a litmus test for the party’s popularity in Northern and Luapula provinces.
