By Jackson MapapayiAn eighteen (18) year old boy in Mwinilunga has committed suicide by hanging himself after allegedly being starved by his mother. North western province deputy commissioner Dr Fred Mulenga confirmed the incident which happened on Sunday around 18:00 hours and identified the deceased as Ackwell Kaumba of Makayi village.Dr Mulenga said on Sunday, the boy went back home from playing around 18:00 hours and found his mother Nivia Nkuba aged 35 of the same abode had not left Nshima for him which angered him.“The boy then told his mother that he had gone to kill himself because he had been starved,” said Dr Mulenga.He said efforts were made by his mother to look for him but to no avail until Monday morning when he was found hanging on a tree.
