OVER 30 vehicles belonging to workers at Zambezi Portland Cement and surveillance cameras have been damaged by suspected UPND cadres.The cadres stormed the cement company on suspicion that it was hiding opposition Patriotic Front party regalia in containers.ZPC Chief Executive Officer Gomeli Litana said the company was non-partisan and the accusations were not true.Mr Litana claimed that there are some people who do not want him to run the company hence sending people to disrupt normal working operations.And Ndola District Commissioner Joseph Phiri, who rushed to the scene urged the Police to take control and arrest the culprits.He said the culprits involved have been captured on security cameras hence the need for the police to thoroughly investigate and bring them to book.Mr Phiri has urged the workers at the company to be non-partisan and concentrate on the company’s production.He said the accusations by the cadres are baseless as he and other counterparts had gone round […]
