By KALOBWE BWALYA REGULATIONS to govern the production of Marijuana will soon be announced as progress has been made, Ministry of Agriculture Director Policy and Planning Peggy Mulewa has said.Ms Mulewa said the bill was sent to parliament and assented to by the previous government and now the team from the ministry had to work on regulations to facilitate the actual and introduction process.In an interview, Ms Mulewa explained that former President Edgar Lungu assented to the bill to parliamentt so that the process can start.Ms Mulewa said so far the process is progressing well and soon the nation will be informed on how far it has reached.Ms Mulewa said the team needed to review the Act that facilitates processing and marketing.And Ms Mulewa disclosed that the document for the seed has since been drafted because it is a specific seed which has since been bought.She said the team had to review the Act so that it can include the processing of the seed and marketing the seed.She said the Act also […]
