By TERENCE MISELOEXHILDA Chileshe Ngosa known professionally as Chile Babie is a Zambia singer and songwriter.Born in Kafue’s Shikoswe area in a family of nine where she is the fifth child.Chile and her siblings were raised by a single mother because they lost their father when they were all still young. Although raised in Kafue, Chile is based in Germany.She started singing from a young age in Sunday school then later joined the main church choir under the United Church of Zambia, in Kafue.In 2019, she started writing her own songs with the desire to pursuing a career in music.
