By ADRIAN MWANZATHE UPND legal team should improve in advising President Hakainde Hichilema to avoid blunders, PF Pambashe Member of Parliament Ronald Chitotela has said.Mr Chitotela in an interview said the UPND legal team was not doing its due diligence in advising the Head of state.He said the creation of new ministries needed to be done properly.He said it was legally wrong to swear in ministers to newly-created ministries without ratification by Parliament.“I just want to urge our colleagues most especially Mr Jack Mwiimbu who has been in parliament for over 20 years to give the Head of State counsel on certain things,” Mr Chitotela said.Mr Chitotela said there was no Ministry of Green Economy and also the ministry of Technology and Science until after Parliament had ratified the individuals.He said the new ministries were the President’s prerogative and that the opposition had no qualms about it and that they would support the new ministers.“We […]
