By NOEL IYOMBWATHE key to farming is dependent on advanced technology, Corteva Agriscience Managing director Samson Nyendwa has said.Speaking in an interview in Sibuyinji, Mr Nyendwa said that many farmers had been recycling seeds leading to low yields, hence the need for modern technology in farming.He said that many farmers ended up having low yields because of lack of knowledge about the seed.My Nyendwa explained that farmers had in most cases not been able to meet their targets due to bad agriculture practices and using the wrong seed.He said that the answer to improved farming was embracing the new farming technology and ensuring the best practice and seed variety.Mr Nyendwa said that the pride of Corteva was to see that farmers succeeded in their endeavors by increasing productivity.He explained that farmers ccould only enrich their lives and improve productivity once they use the right seed and practice good agriculture methods.And a Sibuyunji district-based farmer, Misheck […]
