By ANDREW MUKOMAWITH Covid-19 cases on the rise in Kalomo District, local health officials at Mawaya Clinic are reminding residents to get vaccinated.Mawaya Clinical Officer, Chibenga Chibenga, encouraged people in Kalomo District to get vaccinated against the Covid-19 now that the vaccine, Johnson and Johnson has arrived in the country.Mr Chibenga urged of the public to get immunised of contracting the deadly virus.“We are seeing an increase in the Covid-19 cases in Kalomo and we need to remind the public that now is not the time to let your guard down,” he said.He added: “The key to putting the pandemic behind us is for everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated to do so as soon as possible to protect the health and safety of our community and to keep our economy open for business.”Mr Chibenga said that the District Health Office will in the next few days start administering the Johnson and Johnson vaccine […]
