By NOEL IYOMBWAIN line with the government’s call to corporate organisations to help fight Coronavirus in schools, China Jiangxi Corporation has donated K40,000 to Likasa Boss Boarding School.The corporation has also donated hand sanitisers, face masks and learning materials.Speaking during the handover of the cheque and materials, China Jiangxi KKIA contract manager Fall Rao said the firm was approached by the Parents Teachers Association that the school needed help.Mr. Rao said that the corporation also feels that it is its responsibility to carry out social responsibilities in the community.He also said the corporation knows the significance of education in developing the country and people hence the donation.Mr. Rao hoped that more companies will come on board and help the school and that the money will be put to good use.And thel head teacher, Mr Chomba Mushimbi said the school with 238 pupils faces many challenges such as inadequate classroom blocks.Mr Mushimbi explained that the school […]
