US$250 MILLION ROAD DEAL SEALED

By Jackson Mapapayi                                                                                            Patriotic Member of the Central Committee Given Lubinda has disclosed that government has signed a US$250 million agreement between a private company and the Road Development Agency to expand to a dual carriageway  the Solwezi Chingola road.And Mr Lubinda who is also campaign manager for the presidential running mate Prof Nkandu Luo has charged that the opposition have waged war of propaganda against President Edgar Lungu.Speaking during a  live radio program on Solwezi Radio, Mr Lubinda said government has realised that North western province is a growing province which is attracting huge economic activities hence the decision to expand the road to a dual carriageway.He said treasury authority has already been given to have the project undertaken.“And I can assure the people of North western province that before the end of this year, the project is commencing because President Edgar Lungu has already authorized to have the road worked on under […]
