Dear Editor,THE hype around the famous “eligibility case” is suddenly deflated. The case had gotten unbelievable hype build-up leading to D-day June 7, 2021.I can’t surmise why suddenly all the hype is fizzled, yet judgment has not yet handed down. Where has all the energy gone?I missed it. May be the courtroom show wasn’t very impressive, after all the hype the case received.At the back of my mind is an old adage: If you hype something too much, it can backfire because people develop unrealistic expectations you may fail to handle. More so, if the expectation is election-related.I guess someone somewhere must be dreading Friday the 11th!Keeping my fingers crossed.God bless Zambia!God bless the 2021 elections.May peace and unity be with us.PETER SINKAMBA.
