Dear Editor,YESTERDAY, May 25, Zambia joined the rest of the continent in celebrating Africa Freedom Day, a day when we remember the role our forefathers played in the liberation of Africa by sacrificing their lives to bring the continent to what it is today.If it was not for the great sons of the continent who fought against the colonial masters, Africa would have not been what it is today and for that, we keep saluting them because we are enjoying from the sacrifices made by our forefathers, the Freedom Fighters.We all know the role that Zambia played in the fight for independence of many African states and it’s only right for us to pay a glowing tribute to our Freedom Fighters among them, our founding President Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda and many of his colleagues.However, as we celebrate this day as a country, we should not allow the efforts our freedom fighters made by throwing […]
