The Edgar Chagwa Lungu Multi-purpose co-operative ( ECL-MPC ) has empowered Twenty Five Thousand (25,000) members from 100 co-operatives in Chama district of Muchinga Province, with farming inputs, egg incubators, water pumps and other assorted items.The 100 co-operatives are from two constituencies, namely Chama North and South Constituencies with 50 co-operatives each, respectively.ECL-MPC Cooperative Coordinator, Chansa Kaumba said the empowerment is from President Edgar Lungu’ s pocket, is meant to help uplift the standard of living of people in the area.Mr Kaumba urged the beneficiaries to put the empowerment they have received to good use so that they are able to sustain themselves going forward.“This is an empowerment coming from the pockets of President Edgar Lungu aimed at uplifting the living standards of ordinary Zambian citizens and so let’s put to good use this empowerment so that it can have an impact on our lives as beneficiaries, ” said Mr. Kaumba.Mr. Kaumba said the President […]
