Opposition leader went to Zambia’s bond holders to ask them not to approve Zambia’s request to halt interest payments and debt servicing until COVID impact on the economy normalizes. He revealed that an opposition leader asked the bond holders to squeeze the current Government and so that citizens could be adversely affected and consequently turn against those in government. “Zambians must suffer so they vote for you?”Mr Kambwili asked. And Mr Kambwili has said there is urgent need to stamp out tribalism and regionalism by ensuring that political parties that encourage tribal voting are not entertained.
