Some sections of society have often accused the electoral commission of Zambia of making lone electoral decisions without the input of stakeholders.But ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager Patricia Luhanga explained that an indaba is not only meant to iron out issues but also to share information and get the views of the stakeholders. “An indaba is not only meant to iron out issues but it is part of the strategy that the commission uses to engage with various stakeholders to share information and views,” she said.Ms Luhanga is confident that stakeholders have been engaged on various platforms, stating that the calendar shared with the general public is a clear electoral road map.
