By SILUMESI MALUMOTHE Construction of a replacement bridge, over the one recently washed away on the Great East Road is nearing competition.The bridge which has cost K2 million, will be handed over soon Road Development Agency (RDA) Board Chairperson Samuel Mukupa has said.He said in an interview yesterday, that RDA engineers had done excellent work so far and the bridge would be handed over soon.“As we speak now the project is winding up, progress has been on the project and we shall see the bridge being handed over to the public soon,” he said.Recently Mr Mukupa told the Daily Nation that the works which started last month were expected to be completed between 21 and 28 days.
