Lupososhi Chiefs empowered with egg incubators

The Presidential empowerment initiative has empowered three chiefs in Lupososhi District of Northern Province with egg incubators.Northern Province Minister Chungu Bwalya who delivered the incubators on behalf of the Edgar Chagwa Lungu Multi-Purpose Empowerment Cooperative said the President values the contribution of traditional leaders in the development process of the country.Mr. Bwalya said the President knows that empowering chiefs is critical to the development of as they also share the benefits with their subjects.He further advised the Chiefs to encourage their subjects to form cooperative so that they can also benefit from the empowerment s fund.“You should encourage your subjects to join cooperatives so that they can also benefit from the Presidential Empowerment funds that other people are benefiting from,” he said.Mr Bwalya further called on the traditional leaders to keep the incubators well and put them to good use.And speaking on behalf of the traditional leaders, Chief Katuta thanked the President for empowering them […]
