By GRACE CHAILE-LESOETSADETHRONED Senior Chief Shakumbila, Patrick Chibamba, says the meeting where Netta Shakumbila was selected as his replacement is illegal and against the customary law of the Sala people.Mr Chibamba insists that the Shakumbila Royal Family does not and cannot work in isolation in the selection or dethronement of a chief.In this matter, Mr Chibamba who is alleged to have been dethroned from the throne for gross misconduct, is seeking a declaration that he is the reigning Senior Chief Shakumbila of the Sala people.Mr Chibamba is seeking an order of injunction restraining the defendants from continuing to interfere with the execution of his chiefly duties of the Shakumbila chiefdom.The same application is seeking an order to stop any further attempt to dethrone him as Senior Chief Shakumbila of the Sala.
