By SANFROSSA MANYINDATHE United Party for National Development (UPND) on the Copperbelt has advised youths to avoid fights with the police but stand the pressure as the country heads to the August 12 general election.However, the party advised the youth to refuse to be intimidated but continue working hard in mobilizing the UPND in the province.UPND Copperbelt Youth Chairman, Daniel Kamenga, said only sweat and sacrifice would save the country from mismanagement.Mr Kamenga was speaking following the scene that took place in Kitwe on March 12, this year during commemorating youth day when UPND youths fought running battles with police leading to 31 arrests.“I understand the difficulties you go through and I can assure you that the party leadership in the province through our Provincial Chairman, Mr Elisha Matambo will always be there to offer support.“Be brave enough to stand the pressure and suppression from this brutal regime as we approach election day,” he said.He […]
