By SILUMESI MALUMOGEOFFREY Bwalya Mwamba has rubbished reports that he bitterly complained about the recent Constitutional Court judgement on Grade 12 certificate holders who are eligible for elections.Mr Mwamba, popularly known as GBM, said it was all UPND’s “desperate” propaganda to cause confusion in the Patriotic Front (PF).Reports suggested that Mr Mwamba, who is PF deputy national mobilisation chairperson, accused President Edgar Lungu of being behind the judgement.Mr Mwamba however said in an interview that UPND leaders were too desperate and were now trying to spread falsehoods against him because they know his weight was dangerous for them in the August elections.He said at no time did he issue a statement attacking President Lungu or suggest that he was the one who pushed the Constitutional Court to stiffen the qualification of Grade 12 clause.Mr Mwamba accused UPND leaders of circulating the “falsehoods” against him because they wanted to get him out of their way.
