Sat, 24 Feb 2018 10:41:12 +0000 By CHINTU MALAMBO THE case in which Chishimba Kambwili has sued Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations, Amos Chanda for defamation failed to take off in the Lusaka High Court on Wednesday as Mr Kambwili’s lawyer was not in court. When the matter came up for possible hearing, Mr Chanda’s lawyer, Lubinda Linyamba told the court that Mr Kambwili’s lawyer had been communicated to but was not in court. Mr Linyama sought the guidance of the court going by the absence of Mr Kambwili’s lawyer. The court ordered that the matter be adjourned to April 9 2018 for status to allow High Court Deputy Registrar Irene Washimanga deal with the preliminary issue on irregularity.
