According to a statement of claim filed in court, Joshua Simuchenje sued Pastor Peter Chanda whom he claimed neglected to settle monies owed as per agreement after several reminders to do so. Mr Simuchenje alleged that on September 8th 2017, he entered into a contract with Pastor Chanda and that the clergyman borrowed K85, 000 at his own request which he agreed to pay back within one month from the date of borrowing.
