Chingangu 52, of Chilenje Township in Lusaka, was arrested together with three others in Chibolya compound after an operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC). DEC confirmed the arrest of the former boxer in a statement issued to Daily Nation yesterday. “The Commission has arrested four people for various drug related offences in an operation conducted in Lusaka’s Chibolya Township. “Those arrested include Joseph Chingangu, 52, of Chilenje Township for trafficking in cannabis,” read part of the statement. This is the fourth time Chingangu is being found wanting for breaking the law. In 2016, the former boxer was arrested for aggravated robbery but was acquitted.
