According to witnesses’ ac-count to the Daily Nation yesterday, the incident happened around 07:00 hours as the duo was trying to dig a disused well. A combined team of fire fighters and police officers only managed to retrieve the bodies around 11:00 hours. The witnesses said that the first boy drowned after entering into the well and when the friend made attempts to rescue him, he also drowned.
