Mr. Kalumba repeated his call on the corporate world to join hands with the Lusaka City Council (LCC) in managing waste in the city. He was speaking in Lusaka at the weekend when he joined Deloitte Zambia employees in the on-going cleaning exercise at Kamwala shopping area to prevent the further spread of cholera. Mr Kalumba appealed to other business organisations to emulate Deloitte Zambia in keeping the city clean. Mr Kalumba emphasized that companies should not only come to Lusaka to make money, but also pay back to the communities in which they are operating through corporate social responsibility (CSR).
